GUIDELINES FOR TIMELY PUBLICATION OF SCRIBBLES

For all who help to produce the GCTE Newsletter

Jean Copland, Editor / Gerald Boyd, Layout Editor

q    As writers, observe copy deadlines--or email when to expect the article and how much space to save; write tight and short.  (About 250-300 words for regular columns; about 150-200 words for short articles).

q    For longer articles, try not to exceed 1 1/2 - 2 double-spaced typed 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of 12 point type.

q      As writers, send copy in Microsoft Word as an attachment.

q    As contributors/writers, email if no news or column is possible.

q     As contributors /writers, be aware that articles which arrive after layout is in progress may have to be omitted for lack of space and time to change or start over on layout and still be mindful of dated material included in an issue.
