NCTE/SLATE Intellectual Freedom Award Application Form

The purpose of the NCTE/SLATE Intellectual Freedom Awards is to honor individuals, groups, or institutions that deserve recognition for advancing the cause of intellectual freedom.   The awardee can be an educator or non-educator, and the awardee’s contributions can be ongoing or related to particular events. 

We accept self-nominations as well as nominations of deserving colleagues.  If you would like to make a nomination, please email Nancy Remler at nancy.remler@armstrong.edu and we will contact the nominee.
